2nd Bangkok Summer International Chess OpenBig Rook Chess Academy, in cooperation with the Thailand Chess Association, is delighted to announce the continuation of our landmark event. The tournament is open to players of all nationalities, ages, and skill levels.
The Benjarong Ballroom can accommodate more than 350 players, allowing the tournament to grow even bigger this year. Players who book the Royal Benja Hotel through us will enjoy a 500 THB entry discount for the Standard Open or Standard Challenger section, and receive a surprise souvenir package. Conditions for Titled Players Entry fees to the Standard Open are waived for GMs, IMs, WGMs and WIMs and players rated 2400+. Complimentary accommodation at the Royal Benja Hotel will be provided for 6 GMs (Deluxe room with breakfast included, sharing with another GM for 5 nights).
