Regulations
1. FIDE Rules applied to all categories.
2. All categories are FIDE rated.
3. Standard: 7 rounds, time control is 90 minutes with 30 seconds increment.
4. Blitz: 9 rounds, time control is 3 minutes with 2 seconds increment.
5. Players must sign-in before 8:45 am to be paired in the first round.
6. Players may request up to 2 byes with 0.5 points in the Standard games from round 1 to 5.
7. Players who request a bye on R1 still need to timely confirm their participation to the organizer or the Chief Arbiter to be paired for their first game.
8. Players who don't show up to their paired games will be excluded from the remaining games unless a timely and sastisfactory reason is provided.
9. Players must dress properly.
10. Big Rook Chess Academy reserves the rights to the public and commercial usage of all photos and medias taken at the event including those of minors and juniors.
11. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
